What’s your approach to the work you do?:
Each client is different and I work in a very client focussed way. We work together to achieve your goal for the coaching sessions, and I put 110% into the coaching experience with you. Together we decide the best way forward which may be a selection of tools, exercises, discussion and action planning. We are always looking forward and focussing on a positive way to achieve what you need. I have a creative and holistic approach supporting clients on their journey to enrich their working life through gaining promotion, improved job satisfaction or work/life balance, those facing redundancy or wanting a career change.
After 20 years in Human Resources I have an innate understanding of what employers want when recruiting and also how to be successful in an organisation, and I love to be able to share this with clients.
What do you love about Career Coaching?:
I am passionate about enabling people to achieve their potential, enjoy the work they do and achieve balance in their lives. It is a privilege to be able to support them during these transitions. I love being able to combine my naturally intuitive and empathic coaching style with my HR and business experience to enable clients to realise their dreams and goals within a practical and realistic framework.
Why did you become a Career Coach?:
I became a coach to take me somewhere new. After a successful 20 year career in Human Resources I knew I wanted to do something different. Interestingly when I began to coach, rather than finding somewhere new I actually felt like I had come home! This inspired me even more to try and help others find that feeling too!!!
What’s your favourite quote?:
“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars.” (Og Mandino)
